How to Choose a Day Cream?

It is important to choose a day cream that suits your skin type. Different skin types have different needs, even when it comes to skincare with a day cream. But what is your skin type? And which cream is best for you? Read on to find out and explore our extensive range!

Normal Skin

A "normal" (read: almost perfect) skin type has balanced sebum production. There is no excess oiliness, dryness, or sensitivity. You can use almost any product for normal skin. Opt for a supportive day cream with ingredients like vitamin C, glycerin, or ceramides.

Oily Skin

Oily skin produces a lot of sebum. Your face tends to get greasy quickly, and you are more prone to blemishes. Avoid heavy creams that make your skin even oilier, and instead, choose a lightweight, oil-regulating product. Look for ingredients like tea tree, niacinamide, or zinc.

Dry Skin

Dry skin often feels tight or even flaky. The chances of fine lines and a dull complexion are higher. Choose a rich, hydrating day cream. Look for ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, or nourishing oils (shea butter, argan oil, jojoba oil, etc.).

Combination Skin

Combination skin is oily in some areas and dry in others. Typically, the T-zone (forehead, nose, and chin) is oily, while the cheeks are dry. Avoid heavy or dehydrating products and instead opt for balancing and soothing ingredients like niacinamide, green tea, or squalane.

Sensitive Skin

Sensitive skin becomes red and irritated easily. You likely react strongly to many skincare products. Choose mild or hypoallergenic formulas with soothing ingredients like provitamin B5, chamomile, or aloe vera.

Mature Skin

Mature skin is aging and often has wrinkles and pigmentation spots. It also tends to be drier. Choose protective ingredients like antioxidants. You can also combine with anti-aging products such as retinol and collagen peptides, which help keep the skin firm and supple.
